Friday's S&P 500 closed 7,580.07, down 1.8% on the day and 0.6% on the week, with the Nasdaq at 25,437.00, down 2.9% and 2.0% for the week, as Intel plunged 29% on a weak fourth-quarter guide and Amazon's AI-spend print extended the capex fade. Gold last printed about $3,899, bitcoin about $76,800 after a Binance security incident, WTI settled at $104.12 with Brent at $117.64, the 10-year near 4.93%, and the dollar index about 101.9. Wednesday's FOMC held the funds rate at 3.75-4.00% on a 10-2 vote, Dallas Fed President Lorie Logan called for two more hikes, and December remains the live meeting after Q3 GDP printed 3.4% and September core PCE 0.3% / 3.1%. This week's tape trades Tuesday's US midterm elections, a near-certain Bank of England hike to 4.00% on Thursday, an RBA decision Tuesday that markets price about 70% as a fifth 2026 hike to 4.85%, and Friday's October jobs report (seen +65K after September's +29K). Apple and Palantir report Monday after the close, AMD on Tuesday, and Uber on Wednesday; Sunday's OPEC+ meeting is expected to hold December quotas with WTI still above $104. China's official manufacturing PMI already printed 49.3 on Saturday, a three-month low, so Monday's RatingDog PMI is the private-sector follow-up.
