Core PCE, Nvidia earnings, and Warsh's first Jackson Hole speech headline the week.

The week that feeds Chair Kevin Warsh's first Jackson Hole speech is built around Wednesday's inflation-and-growth dump and Friday's keynote. July core PCE is expected to hold at 3.3% year-on-year and rise 0.2% on the month -- the last official inflation print before the September 15-16 FOMC -- and it lands in the same 12:30 UTC window as the second estimate of Q2 GDP (held at 1.5% in the advance) and July personal spending (seen cooling to +0.1%). Wednesday's close then delivers Nvidia, with Wall Street looking for about $91.8 billion of revenue and $2.08 of EPS, plus Salesforce; Thursday opens the Kansas City Fed symposium on 'Financial Innovation: Implications for Payments and Policy,' and Friday at 14:00 UTC Warsh gives the keynote 18 days before the next rate decision. The July minutes already showed 'many' participants ready to hike if inflation does not decline after a 9-3 hold at 3.50-3.75%, even as July payrolls printed -23K, retail sales fell 0.6%, and Friday's flash services PMI jumped to 56.8. Friday also brings the BLS preliminary benchmark revision to March 2026 payrolls -- last year's prelim was -911K -- which can rewrite the labour-market story more than any weekly claims print. Australia's monthly CPI prints Wednesday morning into an RBA on hold at 4.35%, and euro-area inflation flashes land Friday beside Canadian GDP.
